Squeeze type resistance spot welding is the technique originally used by the factory to build Camaro and Nova bodies and it is the technique that C. Hopkins Rod & Custom employs whenever possible. Improvements in technology and electronics have made it possible for us to own and use equipment that produce quality spot welds that are equal to, or exceed, what the factory achieved during the original manufacturing process. While this page is not intended to show every spot welding operation we perform, it does show some photos you won’t see on other web sites.
